| Short Description | An online repository to store and share knowledge produced or shared by the community. |
| Why? | Goat Farm Foundation needs a place (or places) to store and share knowledge produced or shared by the community. |
| How? | We will create the relevant page(s), navigation, taxonomy, and templates to publish knowledge shared by the community on the Goat Farm Foundation website. In addition, we will create a mechanism to link out to external knowledge sources, as well as incorporate the existing Goat Farm Foundation Google Docs repository as part of our overall knowledge sharing plan. |
| Mission Alignment | This is a core mission of the GFF: to collect, organize, and share the knowledge of the nonprofit technology community. |
| About Submitter(s) | Sean is a Founding Farmer and long-time nonprofit Salesforce practitioner. |
| Next Steps | Spread the word about GFF, inform people about the project, and ask them what knowledge they'd like to share with GFF to share with the community. As individual contributions come in, we'll evaluate it and determine the best long-term storage strategy (e.g. put on website, put in Google Docs, or simply link to the external source). Each significant contribution that is accepted in the next three months will earn 1 Goat Token. Sean will receive 5 Goat Tokens for taking on this project and organizing the effort. Unawarded tokens will simply be discarded. If more than 25 contributions are accepted, I'll start up another project with a larger value to be able to award additional tokens. |
